Hello — I'm Gideon Fisher, a documentary filmmaker based in Findlay, Ohio.
I tell the stories of the people and places of the Midwest: the small towns, family businesses, veterans, volunteers, and communities whose stories usually go unrecorded until it's too late to record them. I believe stories connect us, bless us, and serve something bigger than ourselves — and that they deserve to be told with patience, honesty, and a cinema camera.
My current feature documentary, We'll Remember Thee, follows a small Ohio community saying goodbye to its school — and working to remember everything that happened inside its walls before they come down.
My mission is simple: to use my God-given abilities to honor Him by telling stories that matter. Yours included.
I also run StandOut Creative Studio, a commercial production company serving Findlay and Northwest Ohio with video, design, and web work.
